Yesterday my new album 100 Miles for Miles Davis was released. Its an album I felt I had to make. Being a integral part of 3 of his late career albums (TuTu,Amandla,Siesta) was a major
turning point in my life and career. We became good friends and I got to learn so much from
one of the greates musicians andartists in the history of music. Myself with Marcus Miller as producer help usher in with Miles a new sound in jazz. One that made using synthesizers and electronic instruments a new way to approach the genre. Roberta Flack had this to say about the music I made with Miles." With his 100th birthday approaching I knew I had to do something special to commemorate the day and honor his incredible contribution to all kinds of musicical genres. I decided to make an album of new music to honor this great moment. Its all original new music that I wrote that expresses the vibe we had together and what I learned from him. I have incredible musicians on it from Randy Brecker, Jeff Coffin, Vinnie Coliauta,Ada Rovatti,Romero Lubambo, AMO
Its available on all streaming services but I also made CDs and WavFiles available on my bandcamp page..Its accesable on the front page of my website .I spent a considerable amount of tiem and yes money to make this the highest quality in music ,sound and production..
