Jason Miles 100 Miles for Miles Davis Pre Release

Greetings from Lisbon..

On May 26 2026 it will be the 100th Birthday of Miles Davis. I couldnt let that happen without me doing something very special to celebrate it. He was a major force in my life and that starts when I first heard him in the 1960's to when the ultimate moment for me happened and I made 3 albums with him ..TuTu,Amandla,Siesta starting in 1986. It really shaped my musical mission

.We became friends and even collaborated on some music we wrote together. I would hang at his apartment,Watch the fights,Work on music and talk.He visited my wife and I at our house outside NYC. as well..Everybody can give a certain vibe about Miles .

To Celebrate this moment I made a new album celebrating Miles 100....100 Miles for Miles Davis is 8 original tracks I wote that describes different experiences I had with Miles over the years through songs..Its funky and vibey and has attitude with awesome musicians that participated and really made this happen.Randy Brecker,Jeff Coffin, Vinnie Coliauta, James Genus,Ada Rovatti, Romero Lubambo Patches Stewart,Russell Gunn AMO all gave me their best. This was not a thrown together venture. I spent serious $$ to make this a premium project and product. Great recording, Mixing and Mastering . The Album comes out May 1st but is available now for pre release on my Bandcamp page.

You can get the Wav Files or buy a limited edition CD. If You live outside the US I can send you an autographed copy. In The US I can get you a copy but I can only do that if I sell a certain amount of them ..The files are available everywhere. You also get a bonus of original Liner Notes, Credits and stories of the songs..
